Speaking of which, there was a 998S up on the DSC board the other
day that made me think of you - low mileage for just 5995. The
    best bit? It was YELLOW!

Four years old, less than 15k miles, but it's needed fork seals, head
bearings, wheel bearings, clutch plates & belts? Why the **** would you
want that? Sounds like a complete lemon to me.

  7. Unsold. £3.4k and didn't meet reserve. A four-year old example of a bike
that was being unloaded for six grand otr at the end. The seller was
    being mightily optimistic, IMHO.

Right, well the OE head and front wheel bearings are crap and need
    changed early.
    Belts are every 2 years

    Not a lemon at all

You can get a Laminar Lip screen add on same as Chris's red one for £80.

Do you like mine? It is a 2006 late model with around 10,000 miles. I
got it from a dealer in Southampton for a great price and I'd move it on
for a similarly good price. It's a really fucking great bike, as you
know. Best bike I've ever owned. Goes like a MF. Handles so well and
is super comfortable. It would have the standard silencers back on.

  11. Ah. I must have missed the end of the auction. Doh. Still an amazingly
good price for a bike with obvious "issues".
