Nice ride

Until some thug grabs you by the lid and starts heaving you around by the
neck ligaments that is.

 

Unfortunately yes it happens but I dont find it that often. Riding
into London every day I filter through thousands of cars every week
and most are pretty obliging.

I did once, however, have a bloke in a BMW deliberately trying to stop
bikes filtering through the slow moving cars through the blackwall
tunnel by closing the gap. In fact, as I filtered past him (when there
was a gap), he swerved over, banged into me and I was very nearly off.

I immediately rode in front of him, slowed down and stopped forcing
him to stop behind me - this was inside the blackwall tunnel! I got
off my bike, walked back to his door and gave him the mother of all
bollockings at the top of my voice. Of course, he couldve got out and
flattened me quite easily I expect, but he looked like he was
shitting himself especially as a couple of other bikes had by now also
stopped.

It made me feel better anyway - the fucking arsehole, and I shouldnt
think he'd do that sort of thing again.

Thats what I recommend. Embarrass the hell of of them - they'll think
twice next time. Either that or look out for you with a crowbar I
suppose.
