  2. Does anyone know anything about this?

Apparently, in the aftermath of the big first-corner pile-up in the race on
Sunday, Bayliss got up off the ground, clocked Edwards stuck in the gravel
trap, trying to roost his way out without much success, so he bounded over
and pushed him back onto the track so he could rejoin the race... the bloke
who mugged him for a world championship the previous year.

If true, what a legend... but we knew that already didn't we?

Corser went into Escari<sp> a bit hot & crashed & Edwards took to the Gravel
    to avoid hitting Corser

Don't forget that Corser was on the Aprilia ( when it was good )

  12. either.

All i remember is SpiderMan/Xaus punting off Bayliss in UK, and after that
Bayliss had to ride injured ,Edwards got the break and end up Champion in
the SBK,he had Troy on the back foot after that

Ducati re-employed XAUS for this year,Ducati r on drugs,i am certain of
    that

made it sound like he punched him one

"the bloke who mugged him etc etc "

    and theres the reason why

I don't think that was as deliberate, as blatant and anywhere as malicious
as Max's memorable effort though. And Valentino's comeback was a classic
too riding round the outside of him on the next lap and giving him the
    finger.

For deliberate, I hope I never see anything like Melandri's attempt to wipe
the chuppa-chup [1] kid out a couple of seasons ago. He slowed way down,
and those who don't consider Italians to be devious conniving bastards
thought he was going to let <insert name of chuppa-chup here> win.
Not Marco, though, he swerved across and tried four or five times to force
the other rider off the track.

I know you're taking the piss, Crem, but it was the magnificent but sulky
and moody Harada (but was it really 11 years ago?) Or did he do it on a
regular basis? I know Aprilia sacked Capirossi after he t-boned his
    "team-mate".

Harada! Yes, thank you. (..and I was wrong yet again; it was 1993)
Yep; the perpetrator became 1998 champion, went back to the 500s where he won 2 races and is now Ducati's top
rider while the "victim" just kinda' faded away (admittedly after doing some incredible things on the Aprilia
    400/500).
I think Tetsuya was the more talented but Loris has the determination!
