    Take my work for it the little plate and some screws is a temporary
    solution but ut heals quickly and straight

    LOL, sometimes I think it's best to just ride home if you can, and assess
    the damage later - at least you're in a familiar place.

    Re the doctor - I don't think it was anything to do with her not liking
    bikes, George. Your bones are as old as you are, you old bugger. Healing is
    slow for old buggers - fact of life, nothing to do with bike-prejudice! My
    GP, who's a rider himself, said to me a while back "at your age, oh,
    probably 6 weeks to heal. If you were a kid, 10 days....." God I hope that
    was an exaggeration! 10 bloody days for a stable pelvic fracture?? lol

    Anyway - Yeebs - heal well (and fast - you're not quite an old bugger yet,
    ha ha, so you shouldn't take too long!!!

    No, the exit was fine. The landing is where things went a bit awry.
    I found out why they don't recommend downwind landings. :-(
