Nice Beemer.....

  1. Spotted on my way in to work.

    Old bloke on a R75/6 in absolutely immaculate condition.

    Riding the opposite way with a heyooj grin on his mush.

    Nice to see - bet he's had it from new, too!

  2. 75/6 is one of the nicest in some ways. not exactly sporty by modern
    standards, admittedly, but comfy, tolerably quick. The handling can be a
    bit soft, but that can be worked on... And properly maintained, the TLS
    drum brake on the front is plenty powerful enough, and by all accounts
    better than the disc that replaced it.

    You're thinking of the 75/5, not 75/6. The /6 have disk brakes...

    And I'd rather have another /5 instead of a /6.

  4. 60/6 is drum brake (well, mine is.. 60/7 is disc - I'd assumed the 75s were
    the same. If not then I sit corrected.

    HBOL seems to agree; 's only the 60/6 which has drum brake, all the other
    /6s are discs.
