So next year is just around the corner :)

    Should be a good year..

Hayden I think will end up like another Kr Jr....
3 wins in his complete Moto GP career.

Dani already has 2 wins in his Rookie year...

Will the new Yamaha work out the box...

Will Troy replace Stoner on the Duke !!

But he will always be a world champion. That's something you'd trade away
any number of wins for. Ask Caporossi
As for KR Jr he made a big mistake staying with Suzuki.
How many races did Suzuki win this year? Or since the start of the 990
    class?
If he had gone with Honda instead who knows how many wins he would have?
Look at Barros when he got an RC211 in late 2002...
big deal. when it came to crunch time he came up lacking.
    points trumps wins
not as well as the Honda most likely.
But does that mean the Rossi won't win races? Or the championship?
He almost did it in 2006 with a poorer mechanical
package, so he should be competative...
    what drugs do you take?

Im not bitter.. I just find it a piss take that the guy that wins the
championship did it by coming 2nd and 3rd.. and come race day didn't really
do anything amazing on the track...

    Still he's American..

you just dont get it, do you?

hayden layed it ALL on the line, every weekend. he did the best he
possibly could, week in and week out.

what is it with this hero worship and need to see domination from the
    world champ?

what's wrong w/ showing that someone can still win a world championship
thru a good bit of talent, total committment, self-belief, a
never-say-die attitude,, and A LOT OF HARD WORK?!

that seems to be a better story than: world champs are only born with a
    tremendous gift.

    OK....

If you compare Dani's rookie (spelt ok?) stats against Nickys rookie stats..
Both on Hondas.. Both on the best bikes...

    Nicky's 1993 Rookie year:

    130 Points total

    2 - 2nd places.
    6 - top six places.

    Dani's 2006 Rookie year.

    215 Points total

    2 - wins

    2 - 2nd's

    8 - top six places...

How does that make Dani average..?

That's much more subtle than "Do you have any naked photos on the

in both cases, not at all. i'm saying that hayden did that and it
proved that he's a worthy world champion. if any of the other riders
that are not rossi, and thus not "God", had done the same as hayden and
won the world championship i'd be saying the same about them.

You can't directly compare the rookie seasons. At the time they
landed in MotoGP Nicky had never seen a GP track up close but Dani had
years of experience on them. This year was Dani's 5th season racing
on GP tracks at the world level. It was Nicky's 4th. Their track
experience level at this point is almost equal with Dani having a
    slight edge.
