Join us for a trip to the South Coast's largest and brightest market
at Candelo. Down the Kings Hwy, lunch at Batemans Bay (and rendezvous with
Sydneyites, if any), and a few interesting off-highway diversions to our
overnight stop at Tathra. In the morning, visit Candelo Market, then take
some challenging and isolated roads back to the Monaro Hwy, Cooma, and home.
    Approx 300km each day.

Let me know if you want to share in cheap accomodation (cabins in a
van park, approx. $12 per head), camp, or stay at the pub ($65/$80).

    Sir Lex Guest

I had an interesting drive on some challenging and isolated roads out
the back of Candelo once... ever tried to drive on a wet clay road not
long after a truck has gone through and torn it all up. Took me 10
minutes to travel 2kms. Being on a road that insists on turning your
car 30 degrees sideways when travelling at ~10km/h is not fun.

I know the roads you're talking about though, should be good fun.
Unfortunately I'm busy that weekend, and my Saki EL250 isn't really the
quickest thing on two wheels :)

  3. Sure it is! It's called opposite lock and it's more fun on a gravel
road in the dry, but you gotta take it where you can ;-)
