just got me first bike hurrah you say!!

i am going on some trips abroad, and someone said that you can park at
airports for free if you go by bike - is that true?

that got me thinking to parking in general, do you have to pay, obviously
    nowhere to stick the ticket.

many thanks for answers to such a naive question

I have no idea, but I wouldn't leave my bike at an airport.
Most areas have free bike parking areas. I sometimes tuck it into
metered bays and haven't been fined yet

Some airports yes. So far no body anal enough has come forward with the
    definitive list.

Someone who has a clue and gives enough of a shit may or may not be
along in a moment to tell you what to google for.
    Depends dunnit?

Pay and display parking often has an area of free parking for bikes made
out of a tree that makes a full sized cage parking space impossible.
And more and more councils are putting a meter bay or two over to bikes
when they refurbish the road or making combined push bike and bike
    parking available.

Older towns will often have bike sized nooks and crannies behind the
high street that you can use.

But the bestist way of all for you to find out is to go out on your bike
    and explore.

Now **** off and leave us to our childish bickerings ok.
