This morning's post brought a new format V5[1].

There are some *interesting* (read sinister) new bits of information
that appear on it (currently blank on mine):

    Q Power/Weight ratio (kW/kg)
    (only for motorcycles)

    U Sound Level
    U.1 stationary (dB(A))
    U.2 engine speed (min-1)
    U.3 drive-by (dB(A))

Hmmm... I wonder what the cunts are planning to do with those?

[1] You know, then one that costs £19 to replace if you lose it.

Hmm hadn't spotted those, all on the SZR one too..

Guess I really do have to make the ZRX a silly bike at some point, on
    the old V5.

My MP is Peter Lilley[1]. I don't think I'll bother...

In future MoTs you'll be asked to bring the V5 so the tester can compare
the noise as is with the noise as was.

So all MOT stations are going to have to buy decibel meters to test the
bikes noise output in the station then have you drive by at a specified
speed and distance and revs to test the noise on the move?

    I don`t think so.

Have you ever had any dealings with MPs?

I'm sure there are some that are useless and exploit their power.
However most of them are extreemly capable individuals who could have
made considerably more in industry (and have worked less to do this).

I certainly wouldn't do their job.

Sorry to disagree; but those in power (esp. the cabinet) are thieving back
stabbing scrotes. Just read the papers, they sack truth tellers
(whistleblowers), pay themselves expenses they haven't expended (MEPs in
particular), claim rent allowances for flats they sub let - Christ it's
never ending. They are corrupt beyond the bounds of normal belief.

    Thieving? I doubt it.

Back-stabbing, well of course. They're politicians. Look at *any*
professional people in a competitive position and they'll behave in ways
that could be described as back-stabbing.

Sacking of whistle-blowers; generally done by the under-secretaries (or
much further down the ladder). I doubt that most cabinet ministers have
any experience of sacking civil servants.

MEPs- out of scope. MPs claiming expences that they haven't expended,
well in many cases the allowances are fixed and aren't based on
expenditure. I don't think there's much of this anymore tbh.

Rent allowances, I'd like to see where this has happened recently; I
can't recall anything in the last five or so years.

Corrupt beyond belief? Absolutely not, we have (probably) some of the
most honest politicians in the world.
