    that their customers were the people who make action movies at $150-million
    a pop.

    Well, it kind of _had_ to happen...

    First, you build a _real_ kick arse 3d rendering machine, and
    call it "The Reality Engine" - thats good...

    Then, you decide to build a better one, what do you call it?
    Reality Engine 2? Reality Engine 95? Nah, some bright spark in
    the marketing department (who's presumably already got his next
    job lined up) convinces everybody to name it "The Infinite
    Reality". Where can you go from _there?_

    Well, obviously you follow the anthropomorphication trend sweeping Silicon
    Valley like a strain of the flu virus, and, in a complete turnaround from
    the bombast which is all-too-easily associated with the hubris which brought
    the IT industry undone the first time, rather than calling your new product
    "The Best Computer Thingo in the History of the World Ever", you whip the
    sheet off your new machine and say,

    "Presenting our new workstation... Dave."
