Just had a brand new set of BT45's fitted to the Bandit, as
reccomended by the man at Ride-In. I have given the tyres a really
good soap and water scrub, now to see if I can scrub them in a little
on the black stuff. 'Should make a change to the near slicks that I
    was using... :)

Having just had a new set of Azaro STs fitted and ridden home in the
rain - without crashing - I'm officially Better Than Champ!

**** me but these things feel pointy.

    ST45/46?

I'm fairly certain you'll like them.

You've obviously never ridden on 207GPs then. Azaro AV45/46 STs are far
from ponty, they're sports touring tyres, not remotely sporty as such.
Maybe it's because your old tyres were so fucked and square that you've
noticed a marked improvement in turn in.

Them's the babies. We'll have to see. 180 quid fitted ridein/rideout
    at FWR. Good place, that.
The squared off 020s I've had for the last year or so. It was very
disconcerting to feel it wanting to flop over rather than sit upright
(until n degrees off vertical, at which point it wanted to be horizontal)

    See other post.

I did think the first paragraph set up the tongue-in-cheekness level...
