For those who know me, know I can still get lost in my own
neighbourhood, and do so regularly! For quite some time I have been
looking at GPS units but have not found one that fits my budget and
does what I would want it to do. OK mostly I have been looking for one
that fits my meager budget. :)

For the past couple of weeks Radioworld in Toronto have been clearing
out a bunch of Garmin Street Pilot III Deluxe models. They are "Newly
Overhauled" whatever that term actually means, but look like a decent
bargain. Offered with full warrantee, sealed software and manuals and
with positive feedback from other buyers already posted, this morning
I bought one for the RSV.

Yesterday I looked at a MacVison available at Canadian Tire
    http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortme...4443283087&assortment=primary&fromSearch=true

Initially this looked promising but after reading a few online reviews
of the product I dismissed it as probable junk.

Anyway, soon I will have no excuse for riding hundreds of miles out of
my way as I did during my recent ride through southern Quebec. Hmmmm
maybe on those nice days I can just unplug it. <G>
