My ex-wife had contacts that corrected her astigmatism 5 years ago.
    Get a new optician.

  3. Hard gas permeable contacts will sort out the astigmatism automatically
    (like wot mine does).
That one is a bit more problematic..

TFFT. I thought my eyes were playing up until I saw that someone had
written the word, omitting the 'a' entirely. They need their
prescriptions checking, the lot of 'em.

Laser therapy? Carrie had it done on both eyes for astigmatism and it worked
    well.

I hope he is. As you say he is the expert and I paid enough for his
products and services. However he did actually turn down the extra
sales that would have happened if he had said yes to my question so I am
fairly happy to take his advice as Kosher.
Au contraire. I deliberately tried a bit of the old routines yesterday
and, with limited success it actually worked:-

I am out in the shop and like yourself I am a chatty sort of bloke and
we come to the subject of what colour I want the Reactolites. I then
did something that I don't normally do with people and I actively
started studying their reactions and body language and stuff.

"What do you reckon to the grey ones girls, just a little too much?"
says he adopting the appropriate poses, "There is already plenty of it,
maybe a different colour would be a better idea? Gaze into me eyes and
tell me which would be the best colour." Banter ensued.

Anyway, to cut a long story short; they don't, neither of them. Nor
does the stunningly beautiful half chat Indian goddess trainee optician
that appeared out of the back room

Well that is according to the paramedic. I don't actually remember much
about the end of our conversation as it goes. He also said that we
decided on the yellow ones as the 7 day delivery means they would match
    the bruising nicely.

A thing I had considered. I do know the bloke doesn't have many bikers
as customers as his knowledge of the issues surrounding helmets and
flimsy wire frames is very limited.

Perhaps when I go out shopping for deals on contacts I will interview a
    few others.

Hmmm, I suggest you find a new optician.

Admittedly, daily disposables can't correct bad astigmatism, but monthly
ones can do a better job of it.

FWIW, got mine sorted through Vision Express, and their customer service has
    never been short of faultless.

She always does. You've not met her, obviously.

It's a combination of big blue eyes, a fetching grin, lovely firm
tip-tilted tits, a most cute arse - and a screeching Jockanese
    delivery that single her out.
