New rider with 600 Bandit

    I thought the rule with CATs was not to bump start the engine? Isn't it
    unburnt fuel entering the exhaust that knackers it?

    That's not a bad idea, my Bandit has a 20l tank[1] but hits reserve
    after just 15l. Having 25% of the total capacity as reserve always
    seemed wasteful.

    [1] Allegedly, I've never run it that far to find out though.

    What it can do (with some of the 'pump in tank' types - the Jaguar XJ40
    is an example) is bugger up the high pressure fuel pump - eventually.
    The petrol is the only lube the pump gets and it's not a good design.
