    Not relevant.
    Allegedly, combined with incompetence.
Plain text is fine, binaries are not.

what's the size got to do with it? What filesize is acceptible? Are
spams less than 85 bytes also OK?
Probably, but since when has that been an excuse?
no - not in the slightest.

    Some rules are inviolate.

Yeah yeah, and you never make mistakes. Look at the source code if
    you're that fucking anal.

Oh look, a fucking 1x1 image. Can you not see I was trying post
something I thought was on topic, and I'm getting called a retarded ****
for not checking wheter any 1x1 gifs had come across after I had copied
and pasted. I hate OE, and am using Thunderbird on other machines. It's
    still as shit though.
Obviously. I'm even on a text only server. OE is shit, and as it was a
1x1 gif I couldn't even see it. FFS you must have nothing better than to
whinge. As posted earlier, it seems that there are now some interested
bidders, probably lurking here and appreciate that they will pick up
some bits for next to nothing and don't give a fuckity **** about a
slight of hand and a 1x1 gif.

it's so that people don't post binaries. It doesn't say "no binaries
unless they're small and you post them by accident".
no - why do you even have to ask?

You know the feeling that you wish you could turn back time. Thousands
of posts to usenet, and it's the police who get me into trouble.
It's the OT that makes this newsgroup. How boring it would be if we all
    discussed motorcycles, or motorcycle parts.

Look TOG, i've posted here a few times before (ok, got shafted once
before too), but done a fair amount of lurking to know the rules. Seems
you just don't want anyone else turding on your billiard table (no idea
    what that meant).

I'm posting via blueyonders text only server, I posted what looked like
pure text to me, and ON TOPIC. Everyone who has posted negatively just
looked like a complete **** to me. But I knew that already, so fairs fair.

It says nothing of the sort.
    It's not worth that much.

    I didn't see your post.

If it had actually been a jpeg of something then the poster couldn't
have missed it when cutting & pasting, but a 1 pixel blob? Was it
white? Cause I didn't even see it.
