I knew Daewoo were pulling out but I thought Daihatsu were quite successful
here (for a small-volume concern)

What I heard was that they have been selling from Toyota dealerships for a
while but Oz-wide sales last year were less than 5000 with only 400 in WA.
They promise to have parts and service for ten years.

They said no more after March 31 next year I think. They've one more
shipment to come, then will be selling cars to order only till next year.
