  5. Something isn't righ there - I struggle to believe that the weighting
on the bike is so perfect that in an impact [1] it would sit on it's
nose and stay perfectly upright. Bearing in mind the interferance form
    a presumeably airborne rider.

[1] which, clearly, there wasn't, so it's a stage right?

From this angle I can't see a dent in the side of the car, only the
Beemer mirrors against the side of the car. If it isn't staged it
then it just looks like the beemer has done a bit of an over-excited
stoppie but the balance looks just too perfect. The forks looks bent
at the top so if it is real that adds up.

What's the bit on the floor ext to it that looks like a mud guard? (A
    mud guard...)

Well a stoppie wouldn't bend the forks, and they clearly are bent.
Look at how the front wheel is touching the engine, which parhaps goes
some way to explaining how come it stayes upright. And a closer look
at th wheel reveals a kink, just on front of the fork. So it's clearly
had quite a bang, perhaps against the car's front wheel; what's
puzzling is how come the car is so far away from the bike.
Yes. It's the bit that would normally stick out below the yellow peak
    bit at the front.

Looks more like the rear section of the front mudguard to me, complete
    with 'fender extender'.

My view is that it's a setup. The bike has probably been run into something
on the straight and level, and it's been positioned like that for a joke
photograph - notice that the car door is ajar but not actually dented.

My brother and a couple of his did something similar after crashing one of
their bikes - parked it head-on against the wall of an outbuilding by the
roadside, scraped a track through the dirt back to the road, and then one of
them got up on the roof and hung over the ridge like he'd been thrown there.
Then they sat around watching the rubberneckers have near-misses...

Hardly a recycling; more a simple misquote of the punchline.

I used to tell that one, as it happens, glaswegian accent an' all...
