:) That wasn't what I meant, and you well know it!

But, on the other hand, I do happen to have Ohlins part numbers, BM634
and BM635, close handy. ;-) (Purely coincidentally, of course.)

Is it a big deal for you to contact your source for a price?

You know the annoying thing about this BM that I got is that it was
intended to be a low cost shopping bike, but.... like JL, I can't leave
    well enough alone.

I keep thinking, if it's this nice to ride on ten year/95000 kms old
shocks, what might it be like with new, good ones.

It's such a nice bike that I feel money spent on it somehow makes sense.

Even Angie seems to love the beemer. :)

Clem. rocket-science consists mostly of "light blue touch-paper and
    stand well back".

    Yeah, pretty much.
Get your own. I have two plus a tiny one calibrated in inch-ounces for
pose value. Oh, and the micro-adjustable torque screwdriver, but
that's only for when people try to upstage you. (No, I didn't buy it.
    It was a left-over tool from a 14" multi-platter removable hard drive
that's been landfill for 25 years).

    If that fails to impress, I have a fixed-torque 7mm open-end spanner
    (from a similar source).

With Clem as the centrefold (the Santa shot) where would you put the
    staples?

for the next few weeks dealing with my particular aspect of Mr Rudd's
    piss-up-the-wall-money initiative.)

I actually thought of that and then rejected it as too tenuous a
connection even for those resident in ivory towers... and concluded
there must be a more obvious connection that was whooshing me.

  17. Hardly likely to be needed. The GSX-R's and the R6 have all got so low
in the seat and so narrow at the seat/tank interface that even somone
of Betty's size should be able to get at least the balls of both feet
    on the ground...

Common sight in a Zook shop since the GSX-R1000K5 came out... bloke
brings gf in to try a few bikes; she tries the GS500 - too big. Tries
    the GSX-R1000 - perfect fit.
