    Oh. I was sure that in his review of your guzzi, he mentioned someone
    going past him on his gixxer. I probably assumed it was you.

    I think it's one of those bikes that I won't sell. I bought it scrap
    nearly ten years ago, rebuilt it, have been slowly 'evolving' it over
    that time and have further plans for it in the future.

    I've invested a lot of time and effort in that bike - it's a bit scruffy
    at the moment but it still cuts the mustard.

  4. I rode Champ's Turbo at the Bol, the wet one at Manky Cours a few years
    ago. We swapped, and he went on my (OK, The Doctor's) 400 Four.

    It was hard to tell who was actually more impressed - me with the way
    the Turbo went "whoooosssh!" like Des missing a joke, or Champ at just
    how well the 4/4 went for a 25 year-old 400.
