    Fair goes...a CT110 is a very desirable bike. :)

I reckon that a postie is much more likely to be stolen than the OP's Zeal.

I think we need Sharia Law for motorcycle thieves.

Finally got a bike on the weekend.
    Ended up with a 2005 GS500.
Lurvely weather for learning to ride ;)

Look at it this way - go out and ride. Learn in this weather you'll
never be afraid of wet bitumen.

And you'll have a good idea of what wet gear you need to replace :)

Amen to that - I know lots of people who are too scared to ride in rain
because they think it's going to be a whole lot worse than it really is.
They deprive themselves of a lot of riding fun if they see a puff of cloud
    on the horizon...

Have fun on your GS500 (lovely bike!!!)

Just stick to suburban streets without bloody great white painted
arrows on the roads. THen branch out to the main roads, learning to
stay away from the arrows when braking. Mind you, they are dangerous
    in the dry too....

Tip: get some SnoSeal from a ski shop or camping shop and apply to
your boots. Then polish them well, and keep them polished. That will
keep a lot of water out without the hassle of foot frangers or the
expense of "waterproof" boots. Wet feet are depressing.

Already done. I figure if I can learn to emergency brake and u-turn in
the wet, the MOST (and the rest of the riding) will be a piece of
    cake.
Keep an eye out for a Yellow GS500 with L plates around the Wollongong
    area.
