    Greetings

Having started to rebuild the ER5 after getting T-Boned earlier this
year, I have just made the startling discover that I no longer have the
keys <insert pissed off face here>.

    No - I've looked everywhere.

No - There are no spares.

Anyone got any ideas of the price for getting 3 x lock barrels changed
(ignition, seat and tank) and/or a recommendation for anyone to do the job?

    TIA

If you can remove one of the locks (or the thing it is attached to) then
you can take it to a locksmith who does such things (not all have bike
blanks, a bike shop should know who does, I can tell you who in Sydney)
and get them to cut a new key.

Probably cheaper than buying new locks. (although new ones for my
scooter cost bugger all, so ask your bikeshop.)

    Addendum

Found it was "too hard" to get the ignition lock off to take to the
locksmith (security bolts) without drilling or removing the top yoke or
buying new miniature easy-outs. So we searched high and low (again) for
the old fsckin' keys. All round the garage, the kitchen "key drawer",
old jackets, in helmets, under the bed (don't ask) getting crankier and
crankier until in the cage one day, SWMBO said sweetly "Did you ever get
them back from the bike shop that did the assessment for the insurers"?.

    Grrrr.....
