I am mostly enjoying my new job...

And I get puppets, they're not real, but don't tell them that...

    ME, mostly happy...

    Isn't life great?

So what are you doing now Owen?
    I'm confused.
In general, I have to agree.

Mostly going into schools trying to get children interested in healthy
eating, in an amusing and entertaining way. Different presentations
for different age groups. Drama workshops for younger children, bloody
ox hearts and exploding blood vessels for the older children...

I spent 5 weeks training up in Falkirk, the wheel is rather impressive
close-up. Took the opportunity to stay up there a w/e and walked all
over Edinburgh. Amazing architecture. Bought a set of bagpipes - the
reason they sound so bad, is because you can't play them without
    breaking into hysterics...

The hairs on top of my head have started migrating in large numbers to
an unknown winter destination. I am hoping that they will return late
spring or early summer, as I had been rather attached to them.
Curiously, my grey hairs seem perfectly content to stay, it is only
the non-grey hairs that have been departing. The one upside to this is
that grey is a neutral colour and works with anything, so
theoretically I should be able to increase my wardrobe.

My diet has improved, as has my water intake... possibly due to my
greater awareness of how important healthy eating is. Funny that...

    I've become a weekend biker.

    I am stunned.

    No, really.

I mean... Look, let's be fair here. Last time I met you, you were not
exactly a poster-child for healthy eating (unless we omit the word
"Vitamin" from the phrase "Vitamin E").

Still, fair play to you if you're having fun at it.

Don't be, time is linear, there is no Dog and the puppets aren't
real... Thier movement and apparent interaction is caused by my hand
moving inside the puppets, making them appear to be alive... Though in
fact, they are inanimate objects, don't tell the children ( its like
Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy, iyswim)...

The reason I say "don't tell them", is because the puppets, when on
hand - so to speak, take on a life of thier own... In short, I become
the sidekick, the fall guy... And anyway, they'd be so offended and
arsey if they weren't taken seriously, they consider themselves to be
'actooooooors'... Between you and me, hand puppets are a snobby and
egocentric lot and I'd rather be without them, but they do pay the
    rent...
Bonus, still plucking the golden wires and warbling songs? Any chance
of seeing a demo of one of your choppers at a ukrm moot/fest?

I can do that with the wife.
    It's a fackin' pappit innit?
    I can see why now.
    Every day.
It's not easy dragging a five foot chopper around on a bike. And it's
    certainly not comfortable.

I read an article by Will Self about that this weekend. 'Twas in the
Indy magazine. Apparently, it has cost[1] about 20 grand per lift.

Not surprised, mind it is a v impressive piece of kit, in a big kind
of way. Looks kinda cool too, though they could have given it a
somewhat jazzier paint scheme... Its not as if it doesn't already
    stand out...
