I had a read through the PDS tonight and found that ebikeinsurance only
offer market rate insurance and not agreed value. Although when you
fill in the details you are asked to nominate an insured value for the
bike, this is labelled the "Market Value" and section 1.1.4 of the PDS
reads to me that in the event of a total loss you would be paid the
lower of the market value or any other value listed in the policy...
i.e. the "Market Value". That is a deal buster for me. My current
policy with WesternQBE is almost $200pa more, but my agreed value is at
the highest end of the Redbook values for my bike... plus they have
added on some new benefits this year.

Not yet, but I will do.

I took the RACV with the 21 day cooling off period to do proper research
for an insurance policy that works best for me (just needed a
certificate of insurance to get the finance to release the bike - pick
    it up tomorrow :) ).

If you're buying it on finance I would read the PDS very carefully,
twice, then ring Swann or W-QBE.

market value vs agreed value. ebikeinsurance don't offer agreed value
policies. If you're buying brand new, on finance, you really want to
know that your insurance will at least cover the cost of the finance.
ebikeinsurance will only replace a bike if it is less than 6 months old.

Most other insurers offer replacement for at least 12 months, and some
will replace with a new bike within 24 months of purchase.
