Something like this maybe? A very fast and dodgy photoshop attempt by me, but the general idea of yours looks good Tim. I'd go for
    that.

Realistically who leaves mufflers stock though Nev (I agree the new muffler
    looks wrong though).

  5. Me - I prefer stealth mode.

If the Busa hadn't had Yoshis on it when I bought it I would certainly
    never have put them on.

You are in an increasingly small minority though Kev (and getting rarer each
    year)...

A bit awkward to change if they have Cat Converters. Your replacements will
have to have a cat to comply, won't they?

...and they'll probably need to be as quiet as the originals to 'comply'
    also...

In NSW they will probably have to be *quieter*.

This is because NSW tests stationary instead of drive by which is the
European test. In Europe bike that's very quiet mechanically[1] can
have a louder pipe to take up the slack. In NSW a new bike with stock
pipe may fail the NSW test and be defected.

The NSW regs also don't have slack for wear and tear which the Euro ones
do, so an older bike with stock pipe might fail the NSW test even if it
    passed when new.

Yes, this sucks. It's New South Bloody Wales, you are surprised?

[1] this may not apply to Guzzis.....
