Actually for the odd comment along the lines of "we have seen all the
wheelie, stoppie, etc before" there is a finite limit to all this,
unless you can get a KTM on the moon. What I believe is more germane is
capturing the skill together with atmosphere. For example, ice dancing
[1], hasn't dramatically changed over the decades but we still get hours
of it on tv and large crowds at the major events.

To use a really poor analogy, I guess it's a bit like watching a stitched
together video of a hundred people each playing the only chord they've
learned, or one person play an entire song. I don't get a lot of pleasure
from the former, but the latter could keep me going all day.
