    New car every 3 years, so that's not an issue.
    I would have suggested that it was a TP/News detector, but if it
    happens with the ignition off that can only be a bad thing.
    A sign of good taste.

  11. They replaced the switch in the steering column, but then the
    temperature rose so the conditions havent been recreated.

    It's working fine now.

    By the way, I still have your XL250 bits in my car.
