    Nev did say..
    MickK said
If I wanted to imply that everything was available I'd probably have said
something like "All Australian legislation...", but I didn't.. see above.

    and then MickK said
I didn't imply that at all, I actually said that. You _must_ pay attention.
Perhaps if Darren posts a link to a webpage you might get a better grasp of
    things.

You're the worst troll we've had around here for ages. Even biggus is funny
    in comparison.

I was simply responded to a comment regarding overtaking on the left. How you can construe that as trolling is beyond me. If you are not going to add anything constructive to the thread Nev, please don't post as it only wastes everyones bandwidth. AFAIAC, the thread is finished.

Erm hate to burst your bubble.
You are allowed to pass a car on the left if they are turning right.
Which country did you do this test?

Have you bothered to look at those 2 sites by any chance?
All victorian legislation is on the net
You just have to know how to search.
I would also say that all goevrnment legislation is on the net.
Google is your friend iif you know how to search.
You can't even post a link to your site correctly.

  9. I did mine in Australia in 1978 and was instructed the same. It applied to
single lane roads. Times have changed.

Please don't end the thread here. We're still waiting for YOUR constructive
additions to the thread. Your sum total contributions thus far have included
but are not limited to... spreading bad facts about the legality of passing on
the left, telling people who correct your bad facts with good facts that they
are wrong, claiming that you are referring to laws which cannot be found on
the internet, confusing riding in a lane by yourself with lane splitting
between two vehicles, giving an excellent run down on learner driver
overtaking tuition in some unnamed European country at some time in the
distant past, changing your mind and deciding that the relevant traffic law
may indeed be found on the internet, judging a poster's merit on his spelling,
claiming you were never actually talking about traffic laws at all but about
legislation in general, demonstrating a misunderstanding of the word
"implied", sucking up to a VFR rider, suggesting that most government
legislation cannot be found on the internet, failing to understand the concept
of overtaking, claiming that you weren't actually talking about legislation at
all and worst of all, having shit hung on you by Theo. I think the old "I was
just trolling" excuse, whilst maybe a bit tardy, might still help you save
face, but I'm afraid you're still going to have to wear Theo's shit.

Yeah, 2Kb is very expensive these days. And don't get me started on the

1978? 1978? I thought you were an 'older' bloke. :)
I did mine in 1963 when the highway was almost wide enough for cars to pass
in opposite directions and there were no speed limits outside of towns.

  20. I assume you missed the bit where it says this???

"Dark fibre or unlit fibre (or fiber) is the name given to fibre optic
cables which have yet to be used. They are hence not yet connected to
any device, and are only there for future usage."

(not that _anyone_ ever uses intentional literal misunderstanding here
    on usenet, eh?)
