New Bike!!

There were a few of them out of the 160 Pans that joined the Chester
run a few weeks back. Still moans about heat problems although the
pillion is more likely to be roasted than the rider now.

Still, it was lighter to handle but that was about it. Performance was
similar to the 1100 and fuel economy worse.

BTW, there were a bunch of Japs over from Honda looking at why the STX
has received such bad press. They were surrounded by a bunch of
Northerners gabbling on about shiny clutch levers being a bad idea and
other interesting insights The Japs obviously didn't speak English,
got left behind on every corner on the run outs and finished the
weekend looking very bewildered. So let's look forward to the STX
MKII. It should be a right mess!

I'll stick with my 1100 for the moment but would be interested in a
report after a few K mileage.
