New Bike

Which one do I strip off to make it a Valkyrie? Help Bjay!!!!!

 

I guess Louie was right about me buying a stipped down model...I cant
find any carbs on my bike.

Every item/part, that I buy at my local Honda store, so far,seems to be
interchangeable with them Land Barges...of course I never bought a
''spline'', mine is still opera'ble.

For instance: Speed ometer cable, tires, brake levers, plugs, rear
pads,, motor guards, polish, tank bag, gas ''lockable''cap, radiater
cap, radiater chromine top housing, and it seems something else I needed
when I had mine tore down...when I was installing them new goodlooking
''Live to ride, ride to live'' Mirriors..... just trying to help out.

Hey, I really have thought about customizing mine, like some of them
Valks onthe Valk site, you sent me...like chop the fenders, put a big
bad, wide ass tire on the rear.... take off the Valkyrie insignia on the
tank....shoot some of the Valks on there, almost look like
''sport''crouch'' bikes....\
If I had an old Wing, that's what I'd do. Especially, Jerry, the price
you gave for your new/old Wing.....I hope you really do some
cutomizing....sounds great.....jayT=

 

You need to recheck some part numbers and stop making stuff up

 

You still have not told me how to turn a Goldwing into a Valkyrie. But don't
worry about being alone, there are a couple of other dumb ass's in this
group that think a Valkyrie is a Goldwing. I bet all of you think an F16 is
just a souped up Folker Wolf. You expect that kind of ignorance from
non-riders.

 

Hey, even I know the difference. The Valk is a bad-ass, get-down, in
yo face motorskooter and the GW is a barcalounger on wheels. Oops!

(98-02- Wing, in my big old shop....I would keep taking shit off, till
the Wing resemble'd the Valk.
What is so hard about that? They havethe same frame, and motor....so?

====================first, I like your short hands....they are really
typing some funnyass stuff, here lately.
Yeah, the Valk is pretty bad.....however, the Wing ''with all its
plastic taken off'', then you'd see a Valk.. There is probably 200 lbs
of plastic, making the big difference, Not too mention the extra pounds
of electronical differences... hehe JayT=

 

What you think and what reality is once again proves to be different. There
is not anything you can take off of a Goldwing and make it resemble a
Valkyrie Interstate or any other motorcycle. I guess you could eventually
make it look kinda, sorta, if you had taken some mescaline and drank a lot
of Wild Irish Rose, similar to the standard Valkyrie. Try taking a good look
at the Wing.

===We all have our opinions....Honda made the Valk, to be a similar Bike
in many ways to the GW, However... Honda wanted it to be a ''Dressed
outCruiser'', or a standard Cruiser...with the same Engine... like
motorcycle.. then came alongthe VTX1800 VTwin, and all the Valks, were
classics.
One thing we'll find out, is if you can strip down that GWing, and make
a ''F6Cruiser'' from it......cannot wait...but I said that about the
VWTrike.....cannot wait...
So get your ass in 5th gear, and get after those projects. Dont waste
