Picked up my new bike today (CBR6RR) and rode it about 20miles to get used
to it before coming home so I could let the nerves die down and the idea of
    owning it sink in :)
If anyone's ridden this bike, did it make you feel a lot higher above the
road too? I feel like the bike's a lot shorter too. I fucking love it though
    :)
Now all I have to do is wait until it's run in and on the 23rd I've booked
the first service, where it's being treated to a full akrapovich race system
and powercommander, as well as a black belly pan instead of the grey one it
came with. Unfortunately when I paid for it three weeks ago there were of
the opinion K&N didn't do an air filter yet for this model. I've been to a
couple of sites and it appears to be true :-(
I'm so excited, I actually can't wait to go to work so I can ride it again
:) I might have to take a long route there...
    One very happy bunny :)

I managed to get one of the black ones. Not many around and luckily the
dealer I went to had two, one of which was still for sale. I went there
wanting a honda colour schemed bike, but when i saw the black one on display
    i changed my mind...

It's got a single seat conversion on which i forgot to mention. I might be
biased, but it looks the nuts and feels great to ride, even though I've been
taking it easy this morning. (Can i judge it after only 20 or so miles???)

I'm getting the black belly pan cos I reckon it'll look nicer all in black.
    I hope I'm right :)

It's my second bike I've owned, and the last one I've had ever since I pased
my test so it's like having a new girlfriend when you've only ever shagged
one other for most of your life...
    I think...
I'm just a bit hyper ATM, maybe I'm confusing the excited twitches with
    nerves? :)

later this month. ... I want one.

That's what I thought, hence *hmmm*. The MCN one looked good. I'm surprised
there's no official info yet. I thought this was the month.

Yeah, not to mention the bike is "going to have twin underseat exhaust",
which the artist responsible for destroying that picture obviously didn't
    understand.
The twin exhaust which has been painted on looks like something out of a
motorcycle charicature usually found at race days in tents...

what's warm got to do with it?

You can fit a couple of bottles of wine under the seat of a CBR-RR1...

It's an old saying about the prcticality of modern dress.
Can you really. Blimey, I'll have to try that.

I think their argument is something to do with centralised weight.

I've got a blue flame exhaust on my 'blade. Standard level end can,
