Yet another Japanese entry from the 'how to make a bike look utterly
bland' school of design. Compare & contrast with the Brutale, Benelli
    TNT & Speed Triple.

Oh the 1250 looks fine, fairly unchanged, it's the B-King which blows
    goats.

I see the 1250 is injected and with the water cooling getting it tuned
will be expensive. This matters as it won't be putting out 140 at the
    wheel I predict.

yup, and now compare it to the B-King

they've dropped some of the bling from the original 2001 concept bike,
but it still looks pretty boss to me.

It's meant to look that way. You don't mention the price differential.
£5k is about all I'm prepared to spend on a bike these days. They bend
and scratch really easily and new bikes flush 20's down the pan.

I knew that's what you meant, and I totally disagree. The original
concept was a little OTT, but the 2007 production model looks great. I
doubt it'll have the "promised" 240bhp though!

Oh well if it has over 150 rear wheel I shall completely revise my
    opinions!

it's supposed to have a tuned (rather than de-tuned) 'busa engine in
it, so in theory it should put out 150 easily. But as you know, these
things have a habit of turning out a lot more weedy than the original
    idea.

I'm not sure about that. BMW have been delivering some scary bhp
    numbers.

  18. The curse of ukrm. You buy bikes to "supplement" the one(s) you already
    own.

    It got me.
