I'm hoping they extend it again for at least a couple of months. Wasn't
planning to do any shopping just yet, but could make a snap purchase on
Saturday if it comes to the crunch. Obv. it'd make more sense to test
ride one first, but 0% is 0% and a quid is a quid...

I've just phoned Suzuki. Apparently the offer really is going to end
    this weekend.

Of course, 0% finance is cheaper than a cash purchase, so I might have
to pop over to Double R at the weekend and do something rash myself.

I really wish they had something I wanted.

Oi Suzuki, if you're listening, make a supermoto with the SV650 engine
you useless bastards. And I don't mean just stick a 17" front wheel on
    the DL either.

    I do know what you mean. I fancy a DR-Z400SM, but don't /really/ want
one. It's a pity they only have the B650 rather than the B1200 on the
    offer.
    heh.

not sure if I'm going to now, as it's my only roadlegal sportsbike at
    the moment.
If I do go out and buy a Suzuki at the weekend, it won't be to replace
any of the bikes I currently own.

The DR looks nice but even at 0% I wouldn't fork out over four grand for
something made to be abused and neglected.

It is *rather* annoying that the new B12 isn't on the deal. The naked
bike is under five grand even at full retail, I see them down to £4.4k.
One needs to allow another grand to get the engine power back and the
    suspension sorted though..

For a minute there I thought Kawasaki might have cracked the all round
bike thing with their new 1400 GTR then I read:
"We've taken the engine from the all-conquering ZZR1400, the world's
most powerful hyper-sportsbike, and retuned it to make the 1400GTR"
So they have just made the biggest single mistake of touring/retro
launches, "retuning". They can **** right off.

    that's what's putting me off.
yes - if it were on there I'd almost certainly have one (unfaired, of
    course).
I see the "big bandit" is going to be B1250 from next year - probably
a good thing, but stupidly it's going to have a silver-painted engine
    rather than a black one.

TBF the further it gets away from the classis B12 mill and from what
Holeshot can do for small amounts (under a grand) of money the less
    attractive it becomes.

I don't think you're right, though in any case the "Big Unfaired
Suzuki" for 2007 should be the b-King rather than the Bandit.
