It's only 4 miles to work ATM, so recently I've only been wearing T
shirt and trousers. Some of the looks I've gotten some evil loooks
from the guys in full leather while they sit in the traffic queues,
    too scared to filter.

Each to thier own and bugger the consequences.

I think the point was the glaring contradiction of the safety first
impression given by Mr. Sensible and his flouro vest without any actual
body protection. Which is quite funny.

It wasn't a sanctimonious git post, or at least I didn't read it as such,
if thats what you're worried about.

Plenty of time for those. And I will vow to smite their body armoured
frailty with my dessert boots, grandad shirt and open faced lid sidestand
    scraping antics.

I don't think I understand this, maybe I've never experienced "general
melancholy" I just tend to feel grumpy or miserable because of some
underlying issue, usually something minor I've pushed aside that just
    keeps gnawing.

As soon as I work out what that issue is, and either acted on it, had a
rant about it (anger) or fixed it, everything else rights itself.

Thin? Thin? Don't start rumours like that. I've just been under the
weather a bit recently, that's all.

nice pair of baggy light-weight combats are nearly as cool
(temperature) as shorts, and much better for wallet/keys/phone etc.

Nobody. Focussed anger to me generally means no violence, more just a
case of winding myself up, then redirecting that energy into either the
problem, a good rant, or something to change the situation; rather than
    simply being passive about it.
That's one approach, but not the one I've mastered. I seem to work more
along the lines of occasionally sticking rags in the top of the bottles
that frustrate me, applying a match, and then lobbing them in a suitable
    direction. :)
