Some time since, the CB13 picked upa screw in the rear Pilot Road 2.

It was before the snow, cos I was using it for traction (in my mind)

Anyhow, I removed it, and plugged the hole with one of those sticky
    twiglet rubber pipecleaner things.

Tonight, about halfway down the Westferry Road, it popped out.

Madam disembarked, and returned home on foot, and I attempted to ride
it the 600yds or so home. Not fun -it was like riding a tricycle.

It now hasa new plug in, and I have crossed fingers for tomorrow
    morning.

I see a trip to FWR in my future.

  2. IIRC, she been known to do this, occasionally. The fact that she
continues to do it says much for her fondness for something about you.

See now, if that had happened at 250 MPH you could well have hit a queue
of nuns at a bus stop.

They're not safe! Will <stifled sob> *NOBODY* think of the children?

Crikey - I hadn't considered that possibility at all.

I hereby pledge never to ride any of my motorcycles down the Westferry
    Road at 250mph.

Twenty-five's quite a challenge, given the road surface.

Which shoiuld be fun on Marathon Sunday in four weeks time.

    Go long on ankle bandages.

Maybe that's where you went wrong.

Half remove it, super glue the threads, screw it back in again. What
    could possibly go wrong?
