    Greetings,
I have a new found respect for anyone who does any kind of
distance at speed on an unfaired motorcycle. While my ZZR1200 was in the
shop, they gave me a demo CB1300 to ride. Christ......adds a whole new
meaning to the term 'wind blast'. The blast from oncoming trucks hits you
like a brick wall, by comparison to what happens on the ZZR.....not at all
pleasant. The bike was quite comfortable to ride though, apart from the
feeling of the wind trying to pull the helmet clean off your head at highway
speed. For a 1300cc bike, it certainly felt quite light in the traffic.
    Nice engine too......smooth.

Not my cup of tea though......made me *really* appreciate the excellent
fairing on the ZZR when I got back on it this morning :)

Yeah, well, it's a man's game, mate. You should try it at 5°.

    Hoik, spit.

Also adds new meaning to the words "wet" and "splattered with all the bugs
that would otherwise be plastered to your fairing" !

Not my cup of tea though......made me *really* appreciate the excellent
Exactly why I am going from a nekkid bike (CB250) to a faired
(zzr600?) Freeway riding in winter = frozen body, bugs all over you,
huge amount of wind buffeting you (very upright seating position).

I have absolutley no Idea how those crazies on harleys with open face
helmets and upright seated positions can do it. They must be frozen
    solid.

I rode one of these with a Staintune pipe. It sounded sweet...

Actually, that was my first thought......it didn't sound the way it
looked.......should have a mean note to match the animal looks :) The
standard pipe *really* shuts the noise down.

  11. No, anything with a fairyng, a windscreen or your head stuck in a box
    (sphox?) or whatever.

    They'd be whole-cars methinks, just missing a couple-o
    wheels.
