If money is the problem, lost the expensive starband SATELLITE internet
access, and use the free AOL offers that we all keep getting in the mail.

I have an income, and even I can;t justify the expense for my own satellite
    internet feed.

....and the $200 per month light bill would indicate air conditioning.
    It's all bullshit.

Hmmm. I lived in Tuscon, AZ for a few years in a house which did not
have A/C ... a *lot* of houses in AZ don't have A/C - they have
evaporative coolers. Note: during "monsoon season" it can be raining
    and 100+ degrees ... IOW: 100/100 weather.

Never whine about heat to anyone who's lived in Arizona -- a radio DJ
did a "stunt" he left a foil-wrapped beef roast on the dashboard of his
car when he went into work in the morning: at 5pm it was cooked all the
    way through!

Been there, done that, wore out that t-shirt.

Lived in Illinois AND Arizona. Have seen 102% humidity, have been
burned by the metal of my car. Grew up in the CA Central Valley where
temps have hit as high as 117 (rare, but happens). Currently live
in extreme Eastern SFBA where it hit high 90s to low 100s for 19 days
straight in July, hitting low 90s in my front room - no AC! Yes, did not
have the humidity ...one of the reasons I won't live anywhere East of the
Rockies. (and had my AC fixed :)
