Just been to pick my bike up from the local garage having had a shiny
new rear tyre fitted. Gleaming in the corner of the showroom is a poor,
    unwanted (as yet), 05 pre-reg 600 GSX-R K5 "Anniversary Edition" with a
    5999 price tag on it.

    Soooo....

what do peeps think of the K5. Any good? And is the price tag sensible?

    Tanks in advance.

I could buy a GSX-R1000 K4 tomorrow for that money. It hasn't been pre-
regd either so would come to me on an 06 plate.

It's not that good a deal.

    It's 400cc too small.

You might not need a new bike, but you surely require a working sig
separator if you're going to tag shit on to the ends of your posts.

Erm...not when there was no sig. 'Twas a one-off.

    But just to please you:

Thanks for the opinions, guys. You've talked me out of it.

My bank manager will be forever grateful :)

    And for Pip:

Appending your name to the end of a post is a signature where I come
    from.
    Fool.

Glad to see the humour wasn't lost on you.

In order to save a long, somewhat dull discussion about the ins and outs
of sigs on usenet I shall voluntarily concede the point and also play
the Godwin Gambit by declaring you to be a sig Nazi, thereby rendering
    this thread closed.

Once again thanks to all for the comments.
