Need advice on potential brake damage

  1. I have a 1982 Honda Nighthawk CB650. (BTW, I'm looking for body
    pieces - black with striping).

Recently, after work I pulled my bike out of its space and the brakes
were grabbing (I didn't realize what was happening yet). I rode for
about a half-mile before the brakes siezed up and I couldn't move the
    bike.

Upon inspection I was embarassed to discover an empty brake fluid
resovoir. After calling a tow truck and waiting, the brakes cooled
enough for me to move the bike more easily. Last night I replaced all
the fluid and tried the brakes again. I got about a 70% improvement
but I couldn't spin the wheel freely. Tonight I intend to remove the
    calipers and adjust the pistons/pads.

I know there is a risk that I boiled the fluid and did other internal
damage to the brakes. Should I just expect the worst and
disassemble/rebuild the brakes or might I have dodged this bullet?

You may be lucky. I would try freeing up the caliper pistons and see what
happens, at a low speed of course!
