  1. I am considering a career in Accounting. Do anyone in the group have
any helpful hints or suggestions for me? Please share your opinions
    with me.

I propose the Honourable Gentleman, for this particular /double-entendre/,
    for(waves hand) something.

I could go on at length about the merits of ACCA / CIMA / CPA
qualifications, but instead, I offer you this:

    ** Don't do it! **

You'll become a bore and all your friends will disown you. Possibly.
Scrimping and saving every last penny will become your life's
    obsession. ;)

Seriously though... IIRC some accountant bloke lived in a nice enough
but average suburban 3 or 4-bed house. He won millions on the
lottery. And didn't move. He bought a moderately priced new car and
invested the rest of the money.

In short, winning the lottery had almost no effect on his life. How
sad is that? This is *typical* behaviour of every accountant I've
    ever known.

That's kind of my take on what I'd do if I won, but I'd also tell people
exactly what I thought... all the time.

It'd be great, kind of like self-sponsored tourettes. :)

I've never shagged an accountant but I've been screwed by one.

I never suggested that lottery winners should stop doing everything.
:D I suspect we're actually in agreement, just at varying degrees.

Maybe it's just me, but I have no trouble finding things to do outside
of paid employment. If only I could afford to do more of them. <sigh>
