same for us, rougthly, and it'd be a further dis-incentive for Angie to
go back to working full time (instead of 3.5 days/week).

Err, no, I mean they form the ruling coalition with the social
democrats, thus currently governing the Fatherland. So I think I know
what I meant when I wrote my previous statement.

Brighton Kemp Town is the favourite, followed by Pavilion and Hove - all
    three Labour.

Oi you at the end of the line.....one step forward.

I simply can't agree with different tax bands. I can agree totally that
their should be a maximum earnings multiple within companies.

    Hmm... £1295 p.a. worse off.

I'd like to vote LibDem, but it seems I can't afford to.

I'd be £600 pounds better off, so plenty of scope to earn more until I
    might have reason to complain.

Considering this is the first mention they have had in the public forum
since the last election, no. But they are good for picking up they odd

You can't. It is the perfect inflation proof sales tax. Any
    governments dream it is.

The were debates long and hard about VAT within the Labour Party when I
were a lad. Dead agin they were but a little later on and experience
with having it as a toll changed their minds somewhat. The practical
realities of it's usefulness as a catch all revenue generator made them
see it in a whole new and useful light.
    Coo innit eh?

The limdems want to actually redo the tax whole thing, rather than the
Tory way of merely paying lip service to it, from top to bottom if it is
any help to you when casting your vote.

    from the calculator:

"Your tax bill would be higher than under Council Tax. You would pay
£1,889 more per year. Many lower income households would benefit."
Whoopdee-fucking-doo, I'd get to subsidise fat bog trotters like yer
    man here.

German political structure was *especially* designed after WW II to make
sure that nobody like the Nazis could ever rise to power there ever
again. As PR systems go it is said; it leaves much to be desired when
considering it as truly reflective of the collective will of the people.

And it what possible way does it proves this? A coalition of the
parties with a combined majority in votes form the government. Oops,
forgot, it's not a party you'd agree with. Your logic and way of
thinking, as deduced from many of your postings, places you pretty
close to Phil Lunchburym with respect to just seeing the things you
like/chose to see. In Phil's case it's prescribed by an (dodgy?)
interpretation of the translation of the translation of the translation
of the rewritten and edited parts of some old scrolls. I presume your
choice of reading and source of inspiration would be more the kind of
journalistic highlights as presented in the Daily Mail, if they'd have
    it as a comic strip?
