    no, he really *was* the passenger from Hell. If we'd had to hear the
    "Wheelying Through MacDonalds window" story one more time, or one more
    demand to be allowed to smoke in my car, or one more request to divert
    off the motorway in search of KFC, etc. etc. he'd *definitely* have
    been dumped at Newport Pagnell.

    No fuss - just a statement of fact. I will never forget that car
    journey. It was like being in another universe - Bear World.
    No myth. He was the passenger from hell. I managed to utter 25 words in
    the space of 3½-4 hours because Bear took up 99.5% of the airspace and
    darsy was graciously permitted to have the balancing 0.49999999
    recurring % that was left.
