NEC show question

Okay, this year is going to be the first time I bother going to the
NEC show, after repeated disappointments at the BMF Rally and Tail End
    ones.

I'm after some Hein-Gericke "Air Pants", or similar (I trust HG kit
and these do the job - something I can put on over my suit trousers
for the commute to work, without overheating).

    But,

    1) Do you guys reckon there will be stocks of summer weight clothing
there, hopefully going for plenty cheapness? Or will the dealers only
    bring their winter stuff?

    2) What's the probability of HG being there, given their problems?

    Cheers

    okay.

I'm going to pay extra to go on the preview day thus avoiding crowds of
    common people.

Don't buy stuff at the NEC, just look at it. Buy stuff at the Ally Pally
    bike show in Feb 04

pete boyall fascinated us all by saying...
None whatsoever. HG never sell their products at the shows, and never
have, they don't even have a stand *showing* their products. They do sell
returns and seconds at the BMF show at reduced prices, but that's it.

I'll come with you. You can drive.
I might buy a race can for the VFR at the NEC, just so I can have it for
longer before I (a man) have to take it off for the MOT in September
    2004.

    :-(

Having only been to the BMF ones I didn't realise that.

Still, nearest HG is Brum, so I s'pose I can stop in at the same time.

Hmm, I may go on the Friday too.

cool. On a roadtrip from mine to the NEC, it's also traditional to
pick up Bear who'll already have had a bottle of wine for breakfast,
and who'll then procede to drink a bottle of scotch on the way up,
becoming more and more obnoxious as we get closer to Birmingham.

I do. And all I recall was the Superbike strippers getting their tits
out. And they weren't there last year.

  20. Oh well no lift for me then. Time to trust to Virgin West Coast again
and pray that Mr Bowker isn't ripping the fucking tracks up again for
    more needless work.
