Not quite, you want to expect them to act like a **** (albeit a slightly
predictable one) and to have your 'escape route' planned.

Still, wtf do I know, I've spent about 2 years on crutches.

That's something else which has become apparent recently. What are the
chances of someone who starts riding at my age, making it through 50 years
of biking without gainning lasting injuries from it?

At UKRM meets and other bike meets, there always tends to be a high
    proportion of injured people.

It's a risk I'm prepared to take, just one that I hadn't really considered.
I'm slowly leaving the invincable mindset.

50 years? I reckon you'll be lucky to manage 5. Seriously; and that's
    not a criticism.

Well, I for one find your friendly waves most offensive and unbefitting a
newsgroup this type, maybe you would consider using more of a <fx wanker>
    hand movement in future.

    I thank you, D

Here Des, you know that thing you said to Klaatu about standard responses
and always trotting out the same shit?

Can you apply it to your own posts?

You see the easy answer here is : "You read your own posts?"

If you have an opinion based on all the facts then I'd say it was informed.

If you have an opinion based on only a bit of information some of which may
be incorrect then I'd say it was uninformed.

  13. If someone posted "I believe France shares a border with Poland"
    we would flame them regardless.

    H*T*H.

  17. You're getting old.

When you're *really* old, like Auvache, you'll get it back again,
    don't worry. ;o)

I think you are confusing "seems like I have lived for ever" with will
    live forever.

If anything I am a bit more mindful these days, mainly I think because
the curing time now takes such an age to complete.
