    Yes.

I'm sure it's Eddie Yates off Corrie.

Two minds with but a single thought.

At least one of us ought to be deeply worried.

Heh. If I'd read the Guardian I might have done the same.

Oddly, I almost bought it this morning; I'd gone on a run[1] and had
parked my car in a supermarket car park. I'd ordered breakfast after
the run and went to buy a paper, unfortunately I only had 80p left which
wasn't enough. So I settled with poring over a free car magazine.

[1] 4.5 miles which brings this weeks total to about 16 miles with
probably 6 or 7 miles tomorrow.

  10. The railway really is such an interesting national institution - having
just joined, the impression I've gathered in my first month is one of
great work ethics and some properly top fellas.
He's not wrong either! I'm half way through my training at the Brighton
depot, and I couldn't help but notice immediately that the cabs are so
simple. Only problem is, the drivers get so bored they start fiddling -
the number of broken fixtures you find that need fixing in there is
    stupid!

And another thing - these new trains we have run on bloody Windows 95!
Only stable platform they had at the time, they say!

The first time I was a passenger in a Pendolino it stopped in the middle
of nowhere for ten minutes while they turned off the power and rebooted.

I liked the old pic of sweller ona welsh steam-train in the '80's(?),
no doubt someone here will post it... It could have been taken half a
    century earlier...

  20. He's one of these stealth gingers, there's a few around UKRM. [1]

You notice they avoid standing near a direct light source so the tell
    tale glints don't show.

[1] my silence on the matter can be bought for a suitable bribe
