****. Bike loses it and crashes, spilling lots of fluids. Following
bike hits first one, or rider, then two more lose it on the oil. Two
cars manage to stop, then a Ducati plows into the back of the 997 at
    full whack. Nasty.

Yuk. Babelfish translations gives an overview. (If you don't want to
    know, don't read it.)

10.30 am. One 24yo CBR1000 rider brakes and loses it, crashes into
the barier. Second bike runs over first biker, kills him, has on off
with back injuries. Boxter evades the carnage. 2 Following bikes off
on spilt oil, light injuries. An M5 and a Porche stop in time but "a
Ducati special model" then takes out the porche at speed. A 54 yo
    dies.

And they reopen the section of the ring at 3.30. Our Police would
have it shut for at least a week!

  5. I'll try not to think about it next week !

Then again, I'm a complete pussy and wouldn't think of taking a bike round.

I have no second thoughts about doing trackdays on short circuits, but I've
seen so many nasty bike off's at the ring over the years, that its put me
off ever wanting to lap on two wheels.

Shame I suppose, heap the abuse on if you want to, but its my choice and a
situation that I feel comfortable with.

Do you ever actually ride your bike?

Just you took (I think?) a car to the 'OSM and you're taking your car
    to the 'Ring...

  7. No, not at the moment as I are mostly between bikes.

Didn't go to the BOSM either.

    Hey ho.
