Myrtle Beach

Anyone been to this Carolina bike week?
One of dem single make Hardly Worthit events most likely, but still it's
a nice resort apparently.

To get an idea of Myrtle Beach, you have to think in terms of Newquay
crossed with Blackpool, add a hint of Weston-Super-Mare and a dash of
Skeggy ... and presumably you're planning on going when it'll be
over-populated with Harley riding southern merkins.

Should be worth a trip ...

My BiL lived in Charleston for a while, and I've a Sister living in CT
....

I've not been to Myrtle during bike week, but when we did go[1,2] it
was over-poulated with Surf dooods cruisin' in pink V-Dubyas.

[1] June, IIRC.
[2] We were just passing through, didn't stop the night.

 

So, it's sort of on the South-west coast, and the north-west and a hint
of east?

 

Who isn't?

having been anywhere near Carolina myself.
