Great bike, mega power, feels faster on the power than my K3 thou,
    smooth engine, reasonable box.

I want a decent can on it & a steering damper.

I have hammered it good & proper, sweet bike.

It's a bit odd in the handling department, i just cant trust the front
at all yet, feels a bit floaty, i find myself trying to load the front &
it's not really loading, just a bit floaty iyswim.

Having said that, i am going in fucking fast just to 'test' it, i feel
the tyres myself, but the forks dive like a U boat.

maybe i'm just not used to forks after the duolever of the BMW that you
could hammer into the corner like a **** & it just held on & let you
    knmow what was happening.

    The tyres are Pirelli Diablos.

I'll look up some suspension settings, both tyre profiles are good.

Just spoke to Loz, he made a good point, this is my first winter of non
riding in about 6 years, i reckon confidence might be a bit of it.

    I need a trackday.

    :)

And no way is an early R1 a performance rival for a Gixxer K3

Is that the BMW you did the Mallory Park trackday on?
You really hammered that into the corners.
