The ski jump, even slowed down for the yellow flag, it's impossible not to
get what feels like big air!

Ready to race, yeah I know I look fat, but I am wearing very big armour and
a back belt under that lot!

Yeah, I know I've still a long way to go, but I'm quite proud of what I've
    done so far.
The clothes I'm wearing in that pic are all clothes that were too tight to
    wear 3 months ago.

Heh, looks cool. I wouldn't mind having a bash at it again,
just to remind myself just how physically demanding it is.

That bit, lining up 5 minutes before the start, when everyone's
warming their bikes, blipping the throttle and checking each
other out... possibly one of the more scary moments you can get
(and I include the endurance racing in that). Everyone contemplating
the apparent breach of the physical laws of the universe they are
about to attempt, by firing 40 odd MX bikes at the same 6 inch wide
line at the end of the start straight.

If you wanna get really fit, sign yourself up for an enduro.
It's kind of a three hour long MX race, you'll love it.;-)

Gonna do one as soon as I can find some cheap lights for my CR.
My uncle's doing his first one this month, so I'll go along and take the
    piss.

  17. That looks fun. I'd probably bottle it on that jump every time
and go over with both wheels firmly on the ground...

I thought that the first time I went over it.
I thought I was going slow and then wooooooooosh
It's harder to stay on the ground TBH.
