Worth evaluating as a deterrent. Bastards BTW, got your email, cheers for that. SWMBO's not in a fit state to discuss it reasonably ATM, so I'll get back to you. -- Dan L (Oldbloke) My bike 1996 Kawasaki ZR1100 Zephyr M'boy's bike 2003 Honda NSR125R (Going) Spare Bike 1990 Suzuki TS50X (Patio Ornament) BOTAFOT #140 (KotL 2005), X-FOT#000, DIAABTCOD #26, BOMB#18 (slow)
The best thing to use if you want to inflict pain but be able to deny having an offensive weapon is a sock half filled with sand. You might have to get a bit closer to the target than if you use a lump of wood but you'll hurt them a lot more when you get going.
Dan L wrote Hey, do you mind. I got a phone call from them at 9 this morning telling me that they are on the case with the paperwork and asking me if I was a wog and needing victim support. I said that was none of their business and could I have a left handed pick axe handle please. They also said that, on the specific instructions of the Chief Constable, a nice young man would be coming round to check the paperwork had been done correctly including the correction to the colour which they had down as Green and he prefers chocolate biscuits[1]. My response to this and other similar question were noted, including the bit about "please pass my comments on this matter the Chief Constable." On the ball they are. I feel an exchange of letters coming on. I'll make the **** earn his money even if his minions are spending their time filling in fucking forms. [1] Not strictly true as it goes, I didn't find out which biscuits he prefers but why let facts get in the way of blind prejudice.
K Olley wrote Please do Kev, if they have moved their attentions this side of the A127 we would all like to know about it. Actually they don't seem to do that over here, it must be an SS13/4 problem.
When I was training for me direct access test, we were on GS500s. The instructor on his CB500 could never keep up when we got onto the A23. The non restricted GS500s are ok, if a bit harsh.

No luck, but will keep my eyes open. Those that are still around may be moving their attentions elsewhere or they may be changing there habbits. SS15 actually, the one that borders CM11/2. -- Kevin - Basildon XV535 VOLVO FH12 GPZ305 (her's) BOTAFOT#67 BOTAFOF#23 OSOS#29

K Olley wrote Dunno mate. I had a chat with the taxi driver this morning to see if he knew who and what was going on locally and his first reaction was to blame the pikeys from Crays Hill. Which, given what I know of them, makes perfect sense.
Bummer. I know that feeling. The insco will now prolly ask for all manner of things, keys, service book, MOT, V5 etc. The police will phone later to ask if you've managed for solve the crime. This would be a good time to ask about the "shoot to kill" policy. Commiserations
