    Hey Larry,

I was thinking about making some new fork tup caps for my lil'
CB450. I want to be abel to adjust the preload
with some sort of 'set screw' at the top of the caps (why don't they do
this stock?).... I have access to a machine shop
(here at Stanford) I was wondering if you had any tips for me (before I
screw up my bike for good and all ;)

  2. I was wondering if you had any tips for me (before I
I'd drill the fork caps to accept a metal valve stem like this...

I'd order a hand pump and air up the preload like this...

You cover it with enough sand and the sand melts into glass smothering
the fire... It *CAN* be done but it is very difficult...

    I know. I took a $125 1985 Coleman "Pack Horse" tailer I owned. I
dismantled it, powder coating it, reassembling it with SS hardware,
rewiring it for 5 pin connector and LED lighting, and adding a new Sears
    cartop carrier (pod).

In addition the following parts manufactured: tongue extention/swivel,
license plate holder, turning signal brackets for the LEDs.

Since the frame is "anthricite" and the box is going to be blace, I will be
"striping" the 2" pod lip with black 3M reflective. I figure till I am
done I will have nearly $800 invested.

The best part is my wife spent the last 2 nights, 2.5 hours each helping me
    assemble the trailer.

    Life is good.
